This video presents several conversations with Mexican masters degree candidates in the U.S.
The conversations reveal Mexico's cultural dependence on the United States by exposing the production
of an elite class produced from from their studying in U.S. universities. Inserting statistical data about the contemporary
status of the Mexican economy, I trace a parallel between education abroad and its transformative effects on modes of production in Mexico.
