This is an eight-page publication featuring photographs of establishments that provide international money-transfer services,
from barbershops and shoe stores to businesses specializing exclusively in check-cashing and money transferring.
The publication singles out the few source companies that own the majority of these businesses, places where the second largest
source of foreign income to Mexico is transacted.
Copies of this duotone publication, reminiscent of flyers distributed by grocery
stores or real-estate companies, were handed out in the installation space at CalArts and Garash Gallery.
This project was also distributed for free in several
gas stations in Valencia, California, where some of these businesses are located and where migrant workers in the area
commonly send money back to their families.
