After surveying Fluent's collection of books, documents and ephemera, we realized a signi cant portion
of the archive related to the work of the artist Lawrence Weiner. This nding resulted in the decision to
utilize these volumes as source material for the rst part of the project. Exercise 1 consisted on a
chronological display of books by, on or about Weiner. The books were opened in the 'acknowledgement
pages'. These items were used both as objects and as documents that illustrated Weiner's artistic trajectory,
while questioning issues related to authorship, collaboration and personal relations.
Exercise 2 consisted on a printed matter produced by the Fluent-Collaborative's team according to our invitation. This duotone publication combines several texts and conversations by Caitlin Haskell, Laurence Miller, Risa Puelo and Rebecca Roberts and was available for free distribution in the gallery space.
